School children from Riverside Primary School today presented a petition opposing the use of land at Chambers Wharf as a drive site for the Thames Tunnel.
Phil Stride, Head of London Tideway Tunnels, received the petition which contained
almost 2,000 signatures, at Riverside School.
Graham Taylor and Andrew Or from local campaign group Save Your Riverside were also
present.
The phase two consultation for the project closes at 5pm on Friday (10 February).
